Independent Elevator & Escalator Inspections, Compliance & Consulting

Elevator Compliance Group works for building owners, never for the contractor. Our QEI-licensed inspectors and consultants inspect, track violations to verified correction, review maintenance contracts and plan modernizations, and we don’t sell a single repair.

The only elevator opinion most owners ever hear comes from the company selling the work

Maintenance contractors inspect their own work, recommend their own repairs and write the contracts that decide who pays. An owner needs someone in the room who isn’t paid by the outcome.

Elevator Compliance Group is that someone. We perform and witness inspections, read the reports, log every violation, verify that corrections were actually made, and tell you plainly whether a $400,000 modernization proposal is due or premature. Because we don’t maintain, repair or modernize equipment, there is nothing in it for us either way.

How we work

Services

Inspection, compliance and consulting for elevators, escalators and moving walks, from a single building to a multi-state portfolio.

How an engagement runs

  1. Initial consultation

We learn the portfolio, the equipment, the jurisdictions and what’s been going wrong, then scope the engagement to what you need.

  2. Assessment

QEI-licensed inspectors and consultants assess the equipment, the inspection history and the maintenance contract to identify compliance and performance issues.

  3. Reporting

You get a clear report: each finding, the code section behind it, its severity and what correcting it should involve.

  4. Action plan and follow-through

We build the correction plan, track every item to verified closure and keep the documentation the authority will ask for.

Industries we serve

Every property type has its own failure mode: a hospital elevator is clinical infrastructure, an airport escalator is passenger flow, a condominium elevator is a hundred phone calls. We’ve worked in all of them.
